What it does and how to use it

A skill that teaches Claude Code to do scientific tasks well. It is packaged knowledge the model uses whenever it is relevant.

  1. Install the skill (command above).
  2. In Claude Code, describe what you need - the skill turns on by itself when the context fits.
  3. No commands to memorize: you talk in plain language and the skill does the rest.

Install (Claude Code)

mkdir -p .claude/skills/simulation-workflow && curl -fsSL https://doutorai.pt/data/lib/skills__simulation-workflow.md -o .claude/skills/simulation-workflow/SKILL.md

Paste this command into the terminal, in your project folder, and the component installs automatically.

# Simulation Workflow

## Standard Workflow

Follow these steps to run a fluidsim simulation:

### 1. Import Solver

```python
from fluidsim.solvers.ns2d.solver import Simul
# Or use dynamic import
import fluidsim
Simul = fluidsim.import_simul_class_from_key("ns2d")
```

### 2. Create Default Parameters

```python
params = Simul.create_default_params()
```

This returns a hierarchical `Parameters` object containing all simulation settings.

### 3. Configure Parameters

Modify parameters as needed. The Parameters object prevents typos by raising `AttributeError` for non-existent parameters:
