## What it does and how to use it

A **skill** that teaches Claude Code to do ai research tasks well. It is packaged knowledge the model uses whenever it is relevant.

1. Install the skill (command above).
2. In Claude Code, describe what you need - the skill turns on by itself when the context fits.
3. No commands to memorize: you talk in plain language and the skill does the rest.

## Install (Claude Code)

```bash
mkdir -p .claude/skills/mwaskom-seaborn-3407 && curl -fsSL https://doutorai.pt/data/lib/skills__mwaskom-seaborn-3407.md -o .claude/skills/mwaskom-seaborn-3407/SKILL.md
```

Paste this command into the terminal, in your project folder, and the component installs automatically.

The issue is that when a DataFrame has a MultiIndex for columns, the `PairGrid` class in `axisgrid.py` extracts variable names incorrectly. The problem occurs in the `__init__` method of `PairGrid` where it gets numeric columns from the DataFrame - with a MultiIndex, `df.columns.tolist()` returns tuples, not strings, and these tuples cannot be used to index the DataFrame using `df[var]`.

The fix needs to be in the `PairGrid.__init__` method where it extracts numeric columns. When the DataFrame has a M
